Daftar Game Terbaik Selama 2021 di Steam, Ada Game Favoritmu?

Jakarta: Steam, platform distribusi game besutan Valve, mengumumkan daftar game terbaik sepanjang 2021. Daftar tersebut dirangkum dalam Best of Steam 2021. 

Best of Steam 2021 dibagi menjadi enam kategori penghargaan, yaitu Top Sellers, New Releases, Most Played, Early Access Grads, Best of VR, dan Controller Friendly. Valve menyebut penilaian ini didapat dari hasil pengamatan data sejak 1 Januari-15 Desember 2021. 
Daftar game ini bukan berdasar hasil voting seperti ajang penghargaan bertajuk Steam Awards yang sedang berlangsung saat ini. Adapun kategori Top Sellers memuat daftar game yang meraih pendapatan terbanyak selama satu tahun terakhir.

Sementara itu, kategori Top New Releases menampilkan daftar game yang memperoleh pendapatan terbanyak dalam dua minggu paska peluncuran perdana. Serta, kategori Most Played Games memuat daftar game yang paling banyak dimainkan hingga lebih dari 200 ribu pemain di Steam. 

Kategori Top Early Access Grads dinilai berdasarkan pendapatan yang diperoleh game selama sesi akses awal berlangsung. Top Selling VR Games menampilkan game Virtual Reality (VR) terlaris, sedangkan Top Controller Games memuat deretan game yang paling sering dimainkan menggunakan controller.
