The ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific currently represents ASEAN's perspective for peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region. The Outlook also stresses on the centrality of ASEAN, dialogue and cooperation mainstreaming, and cooperation improvement through ASEAN-led mechanism.
From July 31 until August 2, Minister Retno is scheduled to attend the plenary and retreat meeting of the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM), the East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers' Meeting (EAS) meeting, the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and other ten meetings with all ASEAN dialogue partners.
According to reports, the meeting series involve foreign ministers from 10 ASEAN countries and 10 ASEAN speech partners, namely the United States of America, Australia, India, Canada, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russia, New Zealand, China, and the European Union.
