Held at the Batallón de Policía Naval Militar in Bogota on Saturday, February 8, 2020, the festival was supported by the participation of diplomatic corps of friendly countries, member states of the Defense, Military, Navy, Air and Police Associations in Colombia.
"In the fourth year of the International Culture Festival, it was participated by 18 countries and national entities in Colombia," the Indonesian embassy stated in a press release issued on Monday, February 10, 2020.
In addition, it was also attended by around 1,200 people consisting of marines and officers with their families, 93 children from the San Jerónimo and San Mauricio foundations.
In the festival, the Indonesian embassy showed a national cuisine that had won a place in the hearts of Colombians during participation in various occasions: fried rice with eggs and chicken satay.
At the end of the festival, the Indonesian Embassy in Bogota introduced Indonesian culture with dance from Betawi and invited the troops and their families to join the Poco-Poco folk dance.
