"After that, the President will conduct a working luncheon with selected CEOs from South Korea," Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said on Monday, November 25, 2019.
Jokowi is also scheduled to attend a bilateral meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. President Jokowi and President Moon Jae-in will witness the signing of cooperation agreements between the two countries.
One of the agreements is the completion of negotiations on comprehensive economic partnership between Indonesia and South Korea. There are also a visa-free agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders and a memorandum of understanding on the technical cooperation of relocation and development of Indonesia’s capital city.
In the evening, President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana are scheduled to attend the ASEAN-South Korea Summit dinner. This conference marks the 30th anniversary of ASEAN-South Korea relations.
"So, this is a commemorative summit between ASEAN and RoK," she explained.
In Busan, Jokowi also took the time to attend a meeting with scientists and researchers from Indonesia. After that, the President will review the public service innovation exhibition at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO).
