    Jakarta: The era’s rapid progress is forcing today's young generation to adapt to various changes that arise. However, the phenomenon turns out to have an impact on everyone.

    These factors led to the creation of the Meeting of Minds Forum. 2019 Meeting of Minds Forum will be held at The Tribrata, Jalan Darmawangsa III No.2, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on 11-12 December 2019.

    "Meeting of Minds Forum is an international meeting that will discuss world problems by taking the theme of Facing Global Disruption," said Chairman of the Meeting of Minds Forum and CEO of Syailendra Asia Group Salina Nordin, in Jakarta on Saturday, 7 December 2019.

    This event will bring together various groups who talk about the serious problems of the younger generation. The speakers come from various countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Denmark and so on.

    The forum will also discuss the fields of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). Participants will also discuss solutions to sustainable development goals through Islamic finance and banking.

    In addition, the role of science in new biology and biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the information communication technology revolution will also be the main focus. Moreover, sustainable policies for forests, agriculture and food security topics will also be touched.

    "These are all keys to achieving sustainable development goals in the future," Salina said.

    Indonesia’s selection to host this year’s forum cannot be separated from the demographic bonus that will be faced. Because 60 percent of Indonesia's population is under 35 years old.

    Indonesia is also said to have a living democracy and one of the fastest growing economy. In addition, Indonesia also has rich natural resources and has a bright future in human resource development.

    "Therefore, Indonesia is a test and example for the future," Salina said.

    It is planned that Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo will attend and open the event on the first day. Then Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin will attend on the second day. It is estimated that 3,000 people from all over the world will attend.
