Jakarta: The health team continues to examine the condition of hundreds of Indonesian citizens who were evacuated from Hubei, China. The Indonesian citizens were examined for breathlessness and inflammation.

The Director General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health Anung Sugihartono revealed hundreds of Indonesian citizens were separated from each other. The goal is to avoid contracting each other if one citizen is infected by the coronavirus.

"That is why we canalize our rooms," Anung said at the Ministry of Health Office, South Jakarta on Monday, February 3, 2020.

Anung said if in the quarantine process there was one citizen who was infected by the coronavirus his party had prepared a number of things. He made sure 100 hospitals in Indonesia were ready to anticipate patients.

"Of course, we do not expect (positive coronavirus), we hope within 14 days we will be finished," said Anung.

A total of 238 Indonesians was evacuated from Wuhan, Hubei, China. They were taken to the Natuna Military Base, Riau Islands, for observation. A number of facilities are prepared at the quarantine center, such as arts and sports.
