According to the Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, President Jokowi is scheduled to depart from Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase in East Jakarta at around 10.00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
"The damaged infrastructure ill be repaired by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing," the officials told reporters here on Monday morning.
In addition to that, the President will also ensure distribution of relief assistance to the evacuees in the affected areas.
"The President will take note of that," Heru stated.
Since last week, floods have inundated several regions in South Kalimantan Province. According to reports, the floods killed at least 15 people and forced thousands of people to flee their homes. On January 14, the South Kalimantan provincial government officially declared an emergency status.
