Indonesia Reports 5,803 New Coronavirus Cases

Jakarta: Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force today reported 5,803 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country to 563,680.
 
From Thursday noon to Friday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients across Indonesia was up by 3,625 to 466,178.
 
In the same period, the country's official covid-19 death toll rose by 124 to 17,479.


In a bid to prevent new covid-19 clusters, the Indonesian Government has officially decided to cut three days of the 2020 collective leaves.
Through the joint decree, the Government removed  three days from the collective leaves as stipulated in the previous joint decree. 

The recent joint decree removed the substitutes for collective leaves of the Eid al-Fitr 1441 Hijri on December 28-30.
