38,289 Covid-19 Patients Have Been Discharged from Jakarta's Emergency Hospital: Spokesman

Jakarta: As many as 38,289 coronavirus patients have been discharged from the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital since March, a spokesperson said on Thursday.

"4,069 patients are still being treated in the Athletes Village," Joint Regional Defense Command I spokesperson Aris Mudian said in a statement.
Since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, the Kemayoran Athletes Village has accommodated as many as 42,935 patients from Jakarta Special Capital Region and its satellite areas.

Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force reported 8,854 new coronavirus cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 788,402.
 
From Tuesday noon until Wednesday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients was up by 6,767 to 652,513.
 
Within the same period, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll rose by 187 to 23,296.
