However, he did not want to reveal the names.
"What is clear is that we want to choose those that certainly have a good track record and integrity," Jokowi told reporters at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta on Monday, December 2, 2019.
Jokowi stressed that members of the supervisory board must have experience in law sector. He added that they must also have auditing skills.
"For examplem, financial management is also an important aspect," he explained.
Jokowi previously said that members of the supervisory board would be inaugurated together with the leadership of the KPK for the 2019-2023 period. The establishment the supervisory board is based on Law Number 19 of 2019 concerning the KPK.
There will be five members of the supervisory board. They will be authorized to oversee the KPK's activities and give permits regarding wiretapping, searches, and seizures.
