4,240 Coronavirus Patients Treated in Athletes Village Emergency Hospital

Jakarta: Some 4,240 coronavirus patients are currently being treated in Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, a spokesman said on Friday.

"They are being treated in towers 4, 5, 6 and 7," said Joint Regional Defense Command I spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said in a statement.
According to the official, there are currently 2,235 male patients and 2,005 female patients in the Kemayoran Athletes Village.

Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force registered 9,321 new coronavirus cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Indonesia to 797,723.

From Wednesday noon until Thursday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country increased by 6,924 to 659,437.

Within the same period, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll was up by 224 to 23,520.
