The aid packages comprise 1,002 packages of ready-to-eat food, 1,002 packages of additional nutritional food, 1,002 packages of food, 3,000 blankets, 2,000 sheets of cover, 10,000 units of rapid antigen test kits, 1,000 cloth masks and 1,000 medical masks.
"There are also needed items such as blankets, ready-to-eat food and medicines," said BNPB Head Doni Monardo in a press release on Monday.
On Sunday, hydrometeorological disasters hit several regions in East Nusa Tenggara, including East Flores and Lembata regencies.
According to the BNPB, the flash floods and landslides killed at least 55 people in East Flores and Lembata, while dozens of people are still missing.
Until today, the affected areas in East Flores can only be reached by sea.
