“The first (protocol) is limiting the number of visitors. Then, carrying out temperature checks at each entrance point," said Dr. Reisa Broto Asmoro from the task force's communications team, here on Monday.
Any visitor or management personnel showing a body temperature of over 37.3 degree Celsius should not be allowed to enter. The same should also apply to those not wearing masks.
"Officers in charge of health checks should be equipped with masks and face shields, and should be accompanied by a security officer," she continued.
Aside from limiting the number of visitors, the number of vendors operating in shopping centers should also be limited, she stated. Display cabinets must be put up at a distance, and operating hours should be adapted according to the health protocols.
“Managements need to enforce distancing in queues by installing signs on the floor, with a minimum of one meter (space between) each,” she continued.
Traffic around the premises should be managed to prevent crowding and to optimize the use of outdoor areas. Companies have been asked to provide information regarding entry prohibitions for workers and visitors showing symptoms of fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, or difficulty in breathing, as well as history of contact with a covid-19 patient, she informed.
The Health Ministry’s Decree Number HK.01.07/MENKES/382/2020 on Health Protocols for People in Public Places and Facilities, enforced as of June 19, 2020, also prescribes periodic spraying of disinfectants.
“(Disinfection should be carried out) At least three times a day. Disinfection should mainly be done in areas and on appliances that are touched often, such as door handles, lift buttons, toilets, and other facilities," she said. (antara)
