Using the Indonesian-1 Presidential Aircraft, President Jokowi and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta to Juanda International Airport in Sidoarjo at 07.45 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
According to a press release from the Presidential Secretariat’s Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Bey Machmudin, President Jokowi would hand over 3,000 land certificates to East Java residents during the working visit.
“The land certificates would be handed over at Tridharma Petrokimia Gresik Gymnasium, Gresik,” Cabinet Secretary's website quoted the press release as saying.
Before attending the certificate handover ceremony, President Jokowi will attend the wedding ceremony of the daughter of K.H Miftachul Akhyar Abdul Ghoni, a leader of the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia Nahdlatul Ulama with son of K.H. Ali Ridhom in Surabaya.
From Gresik, President Jokowi and his entourage will return to Jakarta today.
Besides First Lady Iriana, President Jokowi was also accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Sofyan Djalil.
