    Police Arrest Suspected Terrorist in Central Java

    Jakarta: The National Police Special Detachment 88 Anti-Terror (Densus 88) arrested a suspected terrorist in Central Java province on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. 

    The Densus 88 carried out the counterterrorism operation after a suicide bombing incident occured at the headquarters of Medan Police in North Sumatra province.

    "One person arrested by Densus 88's team in Central Java," National Police spokesperson Brigadier General Dedi Prasetyo said here on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

    The spokesperson did not reveal the name of the arrested supected terrorist. The official said that the police are still investigating the case. 

    A man named Rabbial Muslim Nasution blew himself up at the Medan Police station yesterday morning. The suicide bombing attack happened at around 08:45 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB).

    The attack injured at least seven people. Police tightened security at the Medan Police headquarters after the 

    As many as six people suffered light injuries. Four of them were police officers.
