Number of Covid-19 Patients in Athletes Village Emergency Hospital Increases to 3,651

Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients with moderate to severe symptoms in the Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Jakarta stood at 3,651 on Monday
 
"The total number of patients in Athletes Village since March is 64,015," said Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I spokesperson Aris Mudian in a written statement on Monday morning.
 
According to the official, the number of covid-19 inpatients in towers 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the Kemayoran Athletes Village increased by 52 in the past 24 hours. 

COVID-19 vaccination has entered the second stage, targeting senior citizens aged 60 and above as well as public service workers.



Vaccination for seniors will begin in the provincial capital of all provinces in Indonesia with the islands of Java and Bali becoming a priority.

As this vaccination will be focused on the provinces in Java and Bali islands, the vaccines will be distributed in proportion with Java and Bali receiving approximately 70 percent of the vaccines available.

The vaccination will be prioritized for senior citizens in Special Capital Region of Jakarta and capital cities of the other 33 provinces.
