    156 Health Workers in Kudus Infected with Covid-19

    Kudus : As much as 156 healthcare workers in Kudus, Central Java, has been exposed to covid-19. 

    The Head of Public Health Office of Kudus Regency Badai Ismoyo and Kudus Regency Covid-19 Taskforce spokesperson Andini Aridewi had also been infected with the coronavirus.


    “Currently both are undergoing isolation,” said Kudus Regent HM Hartopo here on Tuesday.

    According to the Kudus Regent, the two officials will still be working from home, including giving directions to staff and other officials.

    As of Tuesday evening, the Kudus Regency has implemented micro scale covid-19 restrictions in 42 villages. 

    Covid-19 controls will keep being enhanced, Hartopo continued, even though the
    number of infected health professionals continues to increase.

    Currently the number has reached 156 people, including the Director of Loekmono Hadi Regional General Hospital, Abudl Aziz Achyar. (Translator: Natasha Celia)
