Number of Covid-19 Inpatients in Jakarta's Emergency Hospital Down to 4,653

Jakarta: The number of covid-19 patients in Kemayoran Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta stood at 4,653 on Monday.

"The number was down by 77 from 4,730," said Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a written statement on Monday morning.



Since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, the emergency hospital has accommodated a total of 52.433 covid-19 patients.
 
Last week, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ordered to continue the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) for the next two weeks from January 26 to February 8. 

This statement was made by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto after attending the Limited Cabinet Meeting led by President Jokowi in Jakarta. 

According to Airlangga, the PPKM are currently being implemented in seven provinces in Java and Bali, namely DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, and Bali or specifically in 73 regencies/cities in these provinces.
