    Jakarta: 155,387 people received their second of covid-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours, taking the number of fully vaccinated people to 16,606,675, according to Indonesia's covid-19 task force.
     
    Meanwhile, 266,927 people received their first dose of covid-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of partially vaccinated people to 42,611,602.
     
    To achieve herd immunity, the Indonesian government plans to vaccinate at least 181.5 million citizens, or 70 percent of the country's population.

    The Indonesian government recorded 33,772 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country to 2,983,830.
     
    From Tuesday noon until Wednesday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country increased by 32,887 to 77,583.
     
    In the past 24 hours, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll was up by 1,383 to 77,583.
