From Wednesday noon to Thursday noon, the total number of confirmed covid-19 recoveries increased by 2,154 to 64,292. Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed covid-19 deaths rose by 83 to 5,058.
Head of the National Agency for Disaster Mitigation (BNPB) Doni Monardo as Head of COVID-19 Mitigation Working Committee recently said that several offices that have imposed new normal order must implement two work shifts.
“The first shift starts between 07.00-07.30 and ends between 15.00-15.30. Meanwhile, the second shift starts between 10.00 -10.30 and ends around 18.00-18.30,” Doni said after attending a Limited Cabinet Meeting on Monday, as quoted by the Cabinet Secretariat's Website.
Doni went on to say that the number of employees who work in shifts should be set proportionally to just half of the normal number.
In addition, he stressed that vulnerable groups in government institutions and private sectors are not required to come to the office.
According to him, vulnerable groups include the elderly, patients with comorbidity factors, such as hepatitis, hypertension, diabetes, severe kidney disease, cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disease.
