    Covid-19 Rapid Tests Started in South Jakarta: Jokowi

    Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has revealed that the first covid-19 rapid tests have been launched in the municipality of South Jakarta.

    "Our mapping indicates that South Jakarta is the most prone area," President Jokowi told a press conference here on Friday, March 20, 2020.

    According to him, the initial phase will focus on people who have made contact with confirmed covid-19 patients. Besides implementing rapid tests, the government will also take various measures to prevent the spread the spread of the coronavirus.

    "I will mobilize all elements of the nation," President Jokowi stated.

    As of Friday, March 20, 2020, the government has confirmed 369 covid-19 cases, 17 recoveries and 32 deaths. 
     
    "So the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases is 369," Government spokesperson for matters related to covid-19 Achmad Yurianto said here on Friday, March 20, 2020.
