From Tuesday noon until Wednesday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients in the country increased by 11,046 to 3,953,519.
In the same period, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll was up by 267 to 139,682.
The Indonesian Ministry of Health has launched a new feature in the PeduliLindungi Covid-19 tracking application to facilitate verification for Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA) who receive covid-19 vaccinations abroad.
"Today, we will introduce how Indonesian citizens and then, later on, foreigners can access PeduliLindungi application even though their covid-19 vaccine certificates are not obtained in Indonesia," Chief Digital Transformation Officer of Ministry of Health Setiaji said in a press statement on Tuesday, as quoted by the Cabinet Secretariat's website.
According to Setiaji, the foreign-issued vaccination cardholders can register to vaccineln.dto.kemkes.go.id for verification.
