    Semarang: Central Java Provincial Government established integrated flood emergency command post. The step was taken to deal with the extreme weather which hit Central Java in recent days. 

    "This command post is a special command post. Actually, it is backed up by the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD)," said Ganjar in Semarang, Central Java on Thursday, January 9, 2020.

    "Due to extreme weather in the past two months and the next few days, we should be on alert," said Ganjar.

    This integrated command post is located at Wisma Perdamaian, Semarang, Central Java. this command post will update and validate the latest weather and disaster conditions in Central Java Province.

    With this valid information, the Government of Central Java Province is expected to be able to determine the appropriate steps that need to be taken. From this command post, Central Java Province can give a warning to Regencies or Cities about potential disasters.

    "We cannot be precise, but we can anticipate optimally. We can also immediately warn the leaders of the Villages, Districts and Regents," Ganjar explained.
