Jakarta: 10,045,575 Indonesians have received at least one dose of covid-19 vaccine after 90,142 people received their first dose of covid-19 vaccine on Sunday, according to the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force.

Meanwhile, the total number of people fully vaccinated against covid-19 in the country has reached 5,099,990 after 49,966 received their second dose of covid-19 vaccine on Sunday.

"There are 1,566,995 confirmed cases of covid-19, 1,414,507 recovered cases and 42,530 deaths in 34 provinces and 510 regencies/cities in Indonesia," said the Task Force in a statement on Sunday.

The Government has announced it will allow Muslims to perform mass tarawih prayer (evening prayer during Ramadan) in mosques or musholas.

However, Muslims in covid-19 red zones are advised to pray at home.

According to Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, muslims in covid-19 red zones are advised to use rukhsah (leniency for Muslim) to pray at home during Ramadan and not to have to perform congregational Ramadan prayers in public places, mosques, or musholas in order to avoid covid-19 transmission.
