    DPR’s Commission IX to Visit Natuna

    Jakarta: Several members of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission IX along are set to visit Natuna, Riau Islands. The visit will take place after the obervation period of evacuated Indonesians has ended.

    "After two weeks, after the end of the observation, we will pick them up or release them,"Commission IX Chairman Felly Estelita told Medcom.id at the Parliamentary Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, February 3, 2020.

    She will invite all representatives of Commission IX and members who are able to come. The visit will be carried out to find out the condition of 238 Indonesian citizens after being evacuated from Wuhan, China.

    The planned visit also intends to show the general public that the condition in Natuna is good. So that the public does not need to worry about the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

    "We will arrange it there (Natuna) to provide support and provide information to the public," said Felly

    Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto is also scheduled to temporarily stay in Natuna. Terawan said that the decision was taken to ensure that all quarantined Indonesians were in good condition.
