According to government spokesperson for matters related to covid-19 Achmad Yurianto, the total number of deaths increased by 12 to 221. In the meantime, the total number of recoveries was up by 12 to 204.
"It shows that the disease is still spreading," the Ministry of Heal official said at the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) headquarters in East Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon.
Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto recently approved the proposal to implement large-scale social restrictions in Jakarta Province. He made the decision after receiving inputs from other related officials.
"The approval letter will be delivered to the governor today. The governor is the one who will decide the starting date," Ministry of Health spokesperson Busroni told Medcom.id here on Tuesday morning.
