From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients was up by 3,854 to 240,291, while the official covid-19 death toll rose by 98 to 11,472.
According to Spokesperson of the Covid-19 Handling Working Committee Reisa Brotoasmoro, in the first week of October, Indonesia’s recovery rate continues to climb to 75.27 percent.
Based on data from the central government, as of Ocober 5, the number of patients discharged stood at 232,593 and the number of active cases reached 63,274.
The Government has also implemented various strategies to flatten the covid-19 curve from month to month, including through 3T (testing, tracing, and treatment).
As for testing, up to 40,000 people were tested per day in more than 340 laboratories, while the tracing efforts find about 140,000 cases every day.
