    Indonesia Logs 4,106 New Coronavirus Cases: Task Force

    Jakarta: The Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Sunday confirmed 4,106 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Indonesia to 467,113
     
    Based on data issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, from Saturday noon to Sunday noon, Indonesia recorded 3,897 recovered patients and 63 confirmed deaths.
     
    Furthermore, since the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, the country has recorded 391,991 recovered patients and 15,211 confirmed deaths. 

    As of Sunday, 3,313,590 people had been examined by PCR tests with 2,846,477 people had been proven negative.

    To tackle the spread of coronavirus, the public have been urged to implement strict health protocols such as wearing face masks, regularly washing hands and always maintaining safe distance.
     
    In addition, the Indonesian government has distributed medical supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE), portable ventilators, pcr test kits, and reagents.
