1,400 Covid-19 Patients Receiving Treatment in Kemayoran Athletes Village

Jakarta: Some 1,400 covid-19 patients are currently receiving treatment in Athletes Village Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. 

"Increasing by 56 people from 1,344 people," said Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I spokesperson Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in a statement on Thursday.



Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, the Kemayoran Athletes Village has accommodated a total of 78,454 patients.

"76,194 people recovered from covid-19, 773 people were moved from the hospital, while 87 people succumbed to the disease," he explained.

Indonesia's Covid-19 Handling Task Force reported 4,860 new coronavirus cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Indonesia to 1,547,376.
 
From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon, the total number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country increased by 5,769 to 1,391,742.
 
In the past 24 hours, Indonesia's official covid-19 death toll was up by 87 to 42,064.
