According to the coordinating minister, the Indonesian government will continue to improve its national covid-19 vaccination program.
Early this week, Spokesperson for covid-19 vaccination Reisa Brotoasmoro announced that covid-19 vaccination program in Indonesia will be carried out in four phases.
During a press conference at the Presidential Palace Complex, she explained that the first two phases will be carried out from January to April 2021.
According to her, vaccine recipients in the first phase are health workers, healthcare assistants, supporting staff, and medical students who work in healthcare facilities.
Meanwhile, participants in the second phase are those who closely interact with the public, such as personnel of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri), law enforcement officers, and officers working at airports, ports, as well as train and bus stations.
