"Pramono tested negative on Saturday, while Arief tested negative on today," said the KPU official in a written statement received by Medcom.id.
According to Ilham, Arief tested positive for coronavirus in mid-September. The KPU chairman then underwen isolation for 35 days. He reportedly will resume his work as KPU chairman on Tuesday.
"KPU conveys gratitude to all sides, including Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Covid-19 Task Force, West Pejaten Public Health Center as well as all medical workers," Ilham stated.
On Monday, the National Covid-19 Handling Task Force confirmed 3,222 new covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 392.934.
From Sunday noon to Monday noon, the total number of recovered covid-19 patients across Indonesia was up by 3,908 to 317,672, while the country's official covid-19 death toll rose by 94 to 13,299.
Thus, the number of active covid-19 cases in the country currently is 61,851.
