    Indonesia Eyes Stronger Trade Relationship with UAE

    Dubai: The looming global economis recession has prompted Indonesia to increase trade relations with other countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

    “The Indonesian government is keen on strengthening bilateral trade partnership with
    UAE. We want to have a mutually-beneficial partnership,” Trade Ministry's National Export Development Director-General  Dody Edward said here on Monday evening local time.

    Dody said the two countries should immediately enhance their trad relations. He claimed that the global economy is currently suffering from widespread protectionst measures. 

    “I really appreciate this business reception. It is held to strengthen our economic partnership
    with UAE,” he said

    In the reception, he invited the UAE businesspeople to attend Indonesia Trade Expo
    which will be held in Jakarta in mid-October. Last year, the biggest business
